How To Apply For NARS Program | Nurses Assigned In Rural Service

How do you apply for the NARS program or the Nurses Assigned in Rural Service? Then you will be glad that you can file your application at the nearest Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) regional office. You can also apply online at www.nars.dole.gov.ph and download the application forms there.

What are the requirements?

The Requirements:
1. With valid nurse license issued by the PRC
2. Not over 35 years old
3. Resident of the identified municipalities
4. No nursing-related practice for the past 1-3 years

The deadline for submission of application is on March 22, 2009 and the first batch of 5,000 nurse-trainees will be deployed by April 1, 2009. Meanwhile, the next batch of 5,000 nurse-trainees will be recruited by August 15, 2009 and will be deployed on October 1, 2009.

Nurses working under the NARS program will receive a Certificate of Completion which will be issued by the DOLE, DOH and PRC.

    hi! im a registered nurse but our community where i reside right now was not included on the list.. instead our province where i used to spend my vacation was included..it was my parents hometown. can i apply on that certain town ? a lot of my relatives were residing there. tnx!

    It is illegal and unjustifiably wrong for DOLE to discriminate based on age. Ibig nyo sabihin pag 40y/o ka na wala kana pagasa makakuha ng trabaho as a nurse?!!! Very rediculous! This is age discrimination!!. That is against the law!!

    i want to be part of this project. when will be the next batch for this to be deployed in different municipalities here in the Phillipines. I really want to be hired here even if i will wait for a year or more to practice my profession and to serve the place where I live.
