PRC Has New 2010 Nursing Board Exam Schedule
Nursing graduates of 2010 will be taking the nursing board exam this year on a different month. The Philippine Regulations Commission (PRC) recently released a statement saying that the new schedule for the nursing board exam will happen on July 2010 and December 2010.
The change in the PRC Nursing Board Exam schedule is made possible through Commission Resolution No. 2009-537 that was approved on November 13, 2009.
The deadline for filing of applications for the July nursing licensure exams will be on April 14 for repeaters while first time examinees must file theirs before May 14.
For the December 2010 nursing board exam, repeaters may file their application until September 8 while deadline for first time examinees is on November 8.

My sister graduated nursing last april 3 of this year and she’s suppose to take the board exam this july but the S.O did not arrived until May 14, 2010 which is also the last day of filing at PRC. We just don’t understand why CHED did that? Ched released the S.O. on last minute. Were not happy with it and were regretful because she already did review and ready to do the final coaching. We just hope that Ched released the S.O earlier than the last day of filing at PRC.
