The New Zealand Nursing Council recently said that the country is still open for nurses and health workers. There are still employment opportunities and work abroad positions available in New Zealand for nurses.

This is definitely good news, specially for those who wants to work abroad in New Zealand. According to the Nursing Council, they will give the applicants an easier way to apply for a nursing job in New Zealand.

Nurses Needed In Guam Starting 2012

Health care workers and professionals, including nurses, can now look forward to working in Guam.

Emmanuel Geslani, a recruitment consultant from Guam said that because of the transfer of a military base from Okinawa, Japan to Guam. The country will now need to recruit foreign workers to address their health care needs.

America Seeks A Lot of Nurses

America is seeking a lot of nurses for full time and regular employment. Yes, the United States is finding it hard to fill in the numerous nursing job opportunities in the country.

According to Forbes, the aging American population needs more and more health care workers. One of the reasons for this is that many nurses are reaching retirement age already. Meanwhile, advances in medicine are making patients survive and need treatment longer.

JPEPA News: First Batch of Nurses Flies To Japan

A total of 270 nurses and caregivers who applied under JPEPA or the Japan-Philippines Economic Partnership Agreement (JPEPA) left for Japan last May 10. They are the first batch of health care workers given the opportunity to work abroad as a nurse.

The second batch of 10 workers is scheduled to leave on May 31, for a total of 280 successful applicants. There are still 86 positions available for there are originally, 366 job vacancies for 134 Japanese institutions and facilities.
